For the past 20 years Chef Alvaro (Al) Salinas has been creating sushi dishes that couple Japanese traditions with his own creative culinary journey and culture. Born in Cuernavaca, Morelos Mexico, but raised in Phoenix, his passion for cooking originated from countless days in the kitchen with his Abuela. The diversity of his culinary journey started with his first job at Coco Pazzo, traditional Italian cuisine and has grown from there into Modern American, Asian Inspired and Traditional Japanese. Chef Al's passion is to connect culture, flavors and organic local ingredients in each dish you experience.
